This historic initial letter was illustrated by Albert A. Turbayne, an award winning designer of books and bindings. In 1904 he published a book on lettering entitled Alphabets and Numerals.
Each letter is beautifully presented in a solid wood gold frame and a generous 6 ply mat with a hand-painted gold beveled edge. There is a hook for wall hanging or an optional brass easel stand for desk and tabletop display. Attached to the back is a story card describing the history behind the letter.
