The historic Initial Letter was used in books by Swiss printer Jacques Stoer. He was a prolific printer and bookseller in the 16th Century.
Each letter is beautifully presented in a solid wood gold frame and a generous 6 ply mat with a hand-painted gold beveled edge. There is a hook for wall hanging or an optional brass easel stand for desk and tabletop display. Attached to the back is a story card describing the history behind the letter.
